Hi, I’m Paula Skelly

In my free time, I love immersing myself in things that spark creativity, calm, and connection. I’m an avid reader, a devoted journaller, and a regular meditator. I also enjoy hands-on artistic pursuits — from papercrafting to watercolor painting. Music is a huge part of my life, especially great hits from the ’80s, and I never miss a chance to dance.

I treasure simple moments: walking with friends, especially through Crossings Park of Colonie, helps keep me grounded and joyful. I also enjoy working out with my personal trainer at the gym, visiting my mom and sisters, relaxing in the healing of the Salt Cave, catching up on rest, hanging out with friends, and attending art classes at the Colonie Senior Service Center at the Beltrone Living Center.

I consider myself a lifelong learner, and I enjoy taking classes in many subjects! From art to exercise to continuing education, I say, “Sign me up!” I especially like attending classes at CNW, where I received my massage education. I also love participating in private sound healing classes with my colleague Sophie Gelbman and attending Unity Albany’s OneSong Service, where I find peace in music and meditation (and have been known to dance in the back!). I also find joy in sending cards to family and friends.

Most of all, I love working with my massage clients—listening to their experiences and finding the best modality or combination of modalities to support their needs. I’m so grateful to live and work in the Capital Region, and when I’m not at home, one of my favorite places to be is Cape Cod.
